PROZAP is part of “Lublin Hydrogen Valley”

By decision of the Council of the Lublin Hydrogen Valley, PROZAP was accepted as its member.
“We are very glat to be able to participate in this important initiative for the region and the country,” says Arkadiusz Sułek PhD, President of the Board of PROZAP. “By participating in the cluster, we will be able to use our over 50 years of experience in designing industrial plants to implement green hydrogen projects and thus contribute to the energy transformation.”

The Lublin Hydrogen Valley, which connects businesses from the chemical sector and associated industries from all over the country, includes the Lublin Voivodeship, Grupa Azoty “Puławy”, Lubelski Węgiel “Bogdanka” and the Lublin Science and Technology Park.

The initiative was announced during the Economic Forum, specifically during the Three Seas Local Government Congress in October 2023.

The activies of the members focus on the production and use of hydrogen using renewable energy sources. Green energy is becoming an increasingly interesting field as hydrogen is considered a potentially clean energy source that can help reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Due to the existing technical and economic challenges, which seem to be difficult to overcome at this point, the activities of entities forming the Lublin Hydrogen Valley are focused on finding solutions to make this technology more competitive and widely used.
